About the Education Foundation
The AGC of Ohio Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded in 1999 to promote the commercial construction industry and encourage students to pursue careers in construction.

The Foundation has awarded over $500,000 in scholarships since 2000. AGC divisions and members sponsor scholarships in their name through the Education Foundation with a one-time donation of $20,000.
The Education Foundation awards 29 scholarships to students pursuing construction-related degrees at a college or university. A panel of construction professionals selects scholarship recipients based on their cumulative grade point average, work experience, extra-curricular activities and achievements, financial need, and an essay. Scholarships are awarded in the spring, and applications for the following year are posted in the fall. General Requirements U.S. Citizen | Minimum 2.5 GPA (4.0 Scale) | Undergraduate in 2nd year of a 2, 4, or 5 year degree program Applications are due Friday, February 13, 2026. |
